Ampol Launches New Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan
Tuesday 3 December
Ampol has outlined the next steps of its commitment to the advancement of reconciliation by launching its third Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
Officially endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, the objective of Ampol's RAP is to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through increased and consistent engagement, commercial partnerships, broadened cultural understanding and a focus on improving outcomes.
A refreshed approach to representation, equity and inclusion has also been developed which strengthens Ampol's ability to power better opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their communities, and their businesses.
"Ampol's vision for reconciliation is one where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equitable participation in Australian society and where all Australians respect the long heritage and cultures of First Australians," Ampol RAP Executive Sponsor Brad Clunes said.
"Through this RAP, we are committed to playing an active role across four tangible opportunities: community connection; strengthened cultural learning; sustainable experience and education opportunities; and increased supplier engagement."
Our actions are supported by our committed RAP Working Group and RAP Community, who represent a broad and diverse cross section of our business.
