Fuel savings (Money Saved) is calculated as the monthly fuel spend multiplied by the fuel savings per litre/ fuel pump price multiplied by 12. The selected percentage of petrol or diesel usage and an aggregate of the fuel type is applied to determine the total fuel savings.
The fuel savings applied are 4cpl for Premium Amplify petrol; 3cpl for Premium Amplify Diesel; and 2cpl for Regular petrol and diesel. The Average National Ampol Pump price from December 2021 to May 2022 [$1.98 per litre for Premium petrol, $1.90 per litre for Premium Diesel, $1.77 per litre for Regular Petrol and $1.87 per litre for Regular Diesel]+ have been applied. Savings may vary depending on your actual consumption and the price of fuel when you refuel. Total savings excludes AmpolCard monthly fee of $2.95 per card. 

Time saved on reporting with AmpolCard is calculated by the number of hours spent on vehicle reporting per month multiplied by the hourly rate multiplied by 12.

AmpolCard Services and Repairs savings is calculated by the number of vehicles multiplied by the annual vehicle servicing spend multiplied by 10% servicing discount^.  Services & Repairs is an optional benefit available on AmpolCard for $2 per vehicle per month.

Discounts vary across AmpolCard Service & Repairs merchants, you can request a quote via our Online Booking Portal or request a quote directly through the merchant. Savings total excludes Services & Repairs monthly fee of $2 per vehicle. 

AmpolCard Roadside Assistance savings is a comparative savings figure using an annual fee of $63 per passenger vehicle charged by Ampol, compared to the average taken over Budget Direct Roadside Assistance standard annual rate of $89.95 and NRMA Everyday Care Roadside Assistance standard rate of $119.88 as at May 2022. Roadside Assistance is an optional benefit available on AmpolCard for $5.25 per passenger vehicle per month (Commercial Roadside Assistance is available for trucks and heavy vehicles for $9.95 per vehicle per month).

Everyday Rewards points collected for fuel spend per year is calculated by the monthly fuel spend divided by the fuel pump price+ multiped by 12. The Everyday Rewards points earn rates applied are 2 points per litre for Premium fuel and 1 point per litre for Regular fuel. 

Everyday Rewards points collected for Service & Repairs per year is calculated by you monthly vehicle servicing spend multipled by 1. The Everyday Rewards points earn rate applied for Service & Repairs is 1 point per $1 spend. 

Everyday rewards points may be collected for fuel spend and Services & Repairs. Everyday Rewards points are not earned on Annual Time Save and Roadside Assistance.  The Calculator displays the cumulative points potentially earned on fuel spend and Services & repairs as an individual works through each component of the calculator.
