Track your vehicle spending
Our ‘Account Transaction Details’ report is one of our most popular. Drawing on your monthly itemised invoice for all AmpolCard transactions, it lets you filter the data to gain meaningful insight into your vehicle expenses. At a fleet or vehicle level, you can assess different types of expenses, understand where purchases are made and compare the fuel expenses between individual vehicles.
Fraud protection report
Now more than ever, we all need to be aware of the risk of fraud. Through myAmpol you can set up reporting that helps to identify unusual card activities. For example, you could identify more than one fill on the same day, which would be unlikely under normal AmpolCard use. Or if your vehicles only have fuel capacity of 60 litres, you can set reports to identify where fuel fills and transactions of more than 60 litres have occurred.
Linking your Xero or MYOB accounts
For the ultimate ease and convenience, link your AmpolCard account to your Xero or MYOB accounting software. All your monthly AmpolCard transactions and fully itemised, ATO-approved invoice will be automatically uploaded to your accounting system for easy reconciliation and reporting, especially for quarterly BAS reporting and when EOFY rolls around again.
Linking your accounts is easy. Log in to myAmpol, click on ‘Fuel Cards’, then ‘Accounts’ and accept the ‘Terms & Conditions’. Then, simply click the ‘Connect to Xero’ or ‘Connect to MYOB’ button and log into your relevant accounting software accounts to establish the link.
Card management made easy
When it comes to managing your AmpolCard account, myAmpol makes it easy. At the click of a button you can order new cards for employees, delete cards no longer needed, or report and replace lost or stolen cards. Apply daily or monthly spending limits and permissions for your card holders. For example, you could choose fuel purchases only or choose to add in-store purchases too. You can even specify which Ampol fuels can be purchased by your drivers.
